Factory Modified For Durability
This racing Engine is specifically designed for circle track applications and is based on the 6.2L LS3 architecture. This factory-modified engine includes features like an aluminum block and forged pistons to ensure longevity when racing at high rpms. This lightweight aluminum block offers 533 horsepower and 477 pound-feet of torque, coupled with the reliability-focused design from Chevrolet Performance.
Circle Track Specific Options
Included with the CT525 are many unique options selected specifically for high RPM Circle Track use. Some of these numerous upgrades include:
- Carbureted intake manifold
- Larger 6-quart racing oil pan with increased oil capacity
- Forged pistons
- High-flow rectangular port style cylinder heads
- Low-friction piston rings
- Anti-tampering seals
