A Standalone Harness Makes Wiring Easy

Maybe you’re swapping an LS into an older GM car, another make and model, or a custom ride. Part of the appeal is how easy this can be done with a “plug and play” standalone wiring harness. While you still need to do your homework on an LS swap, a standalone harness from Karl Kustoms eliminates a lot of the guesswork. Our most versatile harness is the LS Swap Standalone Wiring Harness 97-06 LS1 Drive-By-Cable w/ 4L60E Trans.

What Else Do I Need?

Connecting the harness to the engine and sensors is easy, but you’ll still need to understand the limitations of your project car. You’ll need to know where to mount the powertrain control module (PCM), fuse block, and exhaust O2 sensors. Please keep in mind that this harness is not designed for emissions compliance. Emissions connectors for EGR, CCP, and EVAP are not provided. Lastly, don’t forget that you’ll need a custom-tuned PCM (GM 9354896 or 12200411) to get everything running. Karl Kustoms is here to get you started on your LS swap. We provide all your performance engine, parts, and accessory needs at the best prices. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
