This GM alternator is internally regulated and spun off your vehicle’s serpentine belt; It acts as a direct replacement for part number AD244, which was OEM factory equipment on many GM Trucks, SUVs, and vans from 1999-2006. Thanks to the higher 200amp output design, this alternator provides far more charging power than the OEM equivalent, allowing you to run more electronics and accessories in your vehicle without worrying about battery drain. With proper LS alternator relocation brackets, this alternator will mount with many Chevrolet big block, small block, V6, and even a few GM-based diesel applications. Plus, with the black finish, this alternator offers a subtle look so that you can appreciate the true power coming from your engine bay.
