These will NOT communicate with body computers in a factory style application, nor are they intended to be a factory replacement part. The primary purpose and design is in an engine swap scenario, such as an LS swap into a hot rod or muscle car.
LS Swap Standalone Wiring Harness For 97-06 LS1 Engine With 4L80E Transmission
When working on a custom build or engine swap, many know that electrical and wiring tasks can be difficult. Getting all the electrical systems to communicate with new engines, transmissions, or ECUs can be a hassle to get working in-tandem; that’s why our team here at Karl Kustoms is happy to offer this LS1 Drive by Cable Wiring harness for applications with 4L80E transmissions.
This harness is designed to fit 1997-2006 Gen II LS engine applications with drive by cable throttle input. This harness is fitted to work with LS1-style MAP sensors. If you’re looking to fit this harness into LS3 applications, you will need our 81033 adaptor harness for proper MAP sensor fitment. Included Connectors: Fuse box, fuel pump control, fan control, check engine light, speedometer, tachometer, Obd2, accelerator pedal, throttle body control, MAP sensor, MAF sensor, engine coolant temp sensor, alternator control, Oxygen sensors, crankshaft position sensor, coil packs, manual or automatic transmission control, knock sensors.
Important Notes
This harness fits 97-06 Gen III LS Based engines set up for drive by cable throttle body, EV1 injectors, and rear mount camshaft position sensor. Uses LS1 style MAP sensor and:
- Fits LS1/LS6 5.7L engines and Vortec 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L GM trucks
- Is designed to fit 4L80E transmissions
- 24X crank reluctor
- Requires LS1 intake manifold / 4L80E transmission
- Has a standard harness length
- Fuse block included
- Injector plug style: EV1 – Includes Multec Adapter Harnesses
- For use with GM 9354896 or 12200411 (Commonly known as 0411) PCM’s.
