September Update: Collectibles, Last Of Summer Nights, And More

Thunderbirds, Firebirds, and Cobras, oh my! This September at Karl Kustoms was packed full of exciting classic automobiles.

This September was a busy one for the Karl Kustoms crew. We celebrated our final Karl Kustoms Summer Nights of the year and helped to spice up numerous classic rides.

Final Summer Nights At Karl Kustoms

Summer Nights at Karl Kustoms are always special. The community comes out from near and far to display their beautiful automobiles.

After several months of only being able to gather virtually, we were finally able to get together in-person again for our August Summer Nights – the last one of the season. All good things must come to an end.

We saw plenty of fine cars and trucks and truly enjoyed having everyone out.

1961 Ford Thunderbird Interior

It’s hard to find a car more beautiful than the early Thunderbirds. Their classic looks have aged as well as any of the old cruisers, but like most older cars, the road noise can be a bit much.

We solved that and then some for one of our customers. While doing interior upgrades we also laid down some HushMat to give this T-Bird a more modern ride quality. Now, its as quiet as it is beautiful!

1965 Ford Cobra Holley Sniper Accessories

We might be partial to GM vehicles, but man does a ’65 Ford cobra look nice! Throw on a Holley Sniper EFI and you’ve got one athletic classic.

After installing the new equipment this September, we put the Cobra on the dyno and let it purr. Boy does extra horsepower sound sweet to the ears.
