LML 6.6L DuraMax Crate Engine

The Chevrolet Performance LML 6.6L DuraMax crate engine was released for 2011 model GM/GMC HD trucks. Not only is the LML the cleanest DuraMax in history, it is also the most powerful at 397 hp & 765 lb-ft of torque.

The Duramax LML introduced the “9th injector” system in order to supply fuel to the DPF during regeneration. The result eliminated cylinder washing concerns and permits the use of up to B20 biodiesel. New technologies allow for an advantageous engine calibration to be executed and provide significant improvements in fuel economy. Chevy Performance has engineered a fuel mileage increase of 11% over previous generation engines.

The LML crate motor components include an upgraded engine block casting, oil pump, high strength pistons and connecting rods, main bearing design, and re-routed oil passage circuit. Rated at 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque, the engine is significantly more powerful than any prior DuraMax.
